Weather in Sicily

The summer months provide 25- 30 °C temperatures, steady sunshine, usually moderated on the coast by daytime sea breezes.

Travel to Sicily

Sicily has two international airports, Palermo (PMO) and Catania (CTA). These receive daily flights from London Gatwick (LGW) and London Stansted (STN). Once in Sicily the best ways to move from one city to the next is by train, alternatively a bus can be taken to more remote villages and hinterlands. For sheer convenience and freedom however, a rental car is usually the best way to explore the island.
