Places to visit on holiday in Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur is an amazing city. It is a very new city, and one of Asia’s most exciting cities. The vast glass jungle of Kuala Lumpur hides a vast range of traditional cultural treasures, especially in the vibrant streets of Chinatown. Many Asian boom cities have lost their traditional cultures, but no here. The night markets, stunning temples and beautiful colonial mansions nestle among the modern buildings seamlessly, creating a beautifully unique and fantastically lively place to take an apartment to rent in Malaysia.
Weather in Malaysia
Malaysia is always hot. Temperatures very rarely dip below 20˚C day or night, and daily peak temperatures usually stabilise at a blissfully hot 30˚C. The inland mountainous regions of Malaysia are blissfully cool, and humidity is reduced. Rain is extremely rare between February and October, and even during the rainy season (which is really only noticeable on the peninsula) rain disappears as quickly as it arrived.
Cheap flights to Malaysia
Although Kuala Lumpur (KUL) is one of Asia’s main transport hubs, and receives direct Malaysia Airlines flights from London Heathrow (LHR), many people reach their Malaysia villas for rent via Singapore (SIN) due to the larger range of flight options. There are regular connections into Malaysia from Singapore, by land, sea and sky.
