The Host City of the 32nd America's Cup is Valencia, located on Spain’s Mediterranean coastline. Its excellent sailing conditions, the creation of a base exclusively for the event, its great marine tradition and the enormous organisational capacity of such a dynamic city have all contributed to the choice of Valencia as the perfect place to hold the first America’s Cup ever to be held in Europe.
Ski: Nearest SKI is sierra nevada or andorra, both around 7 hrs drive away.
Golf: Excellent Sporting Facilities at La Sella Complex Golf La Sella - Guests can book tee off times on the 18 hole championship course(9 further holes under construction 2008) designed by Jose Maria Olazabal. Winding through orange and almond groves the rolling par 72 course offers a challenge to every golfer. La Sella Golf club offers private tuition. Its well-stocked Pro shop, friendly members and staff make it a favourite for Costa Blanca golfers and visitors alike. The new luxurious Marriott Hotel opened in Spring 2003. Other golf courses within half an hour's drive can be found at Oliva Nova and Javea. Slightly further away are Don Cayo and Ifach. Other golf courses can be found: Valencia region: El Saler, Manises, El Bosque and Escorpion. Castellon region: Costa Azahar, Mediterraneo and Panoramica. Alicante region: Alicante Golf, El Plantio, Alenda and Bonalba Tennis Players can benefit from the top-rated tennis program participating in the weekly tennis courses for all levels. The Tennis Centre offers 5 clay courts and 3 sand filled synthetic grass courts. Horse Riding : The La Sella Equestrian Centre offers a variety of activities for riders, beginners courses are a speciality of the experienced staff of riding instructors.
