The south facing property, which benefits from all day sun, is equipped with garden furniture, sun lounger’s and Weber barbecue. It is all on the level and has independent access. Parking is directly outside with no steps thus making it ideal for children of all ages and for the elderly. The property has been newly decorated throughout.

Notes to the rental rates

• Changeover day is usually Saturday but this is negotiable.  Access to the villa is from 4pm and departure by 10am.  A non-refundable deposit of one-third is required and the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival.  A refundable Security Deposit is also required and is returned promptly provided no damage other than normal fair wear and tear occurs.  Special rates are available for rentals of three weeks or more.  Normal rates include electricity .   The property is cleaned before your arrival.  SPECIAL RATES ARE AVAILABLE FOR LONG WINTER LETS.  PLEASE TELEPHONE OR E-MAIL US TO DISCUSS THIS.

Nerja by day and by night

Nerja, bustling by day and by night, has all the facilities of a modern resort, charming but lively with its twisting alleyways, lined with family owned shops and excellent variety of restaurants. During the day there are breath-taking views of the coast from the palm-lined Balcon de Europa, an elegant promenade jutting out on a cliff approached from the town centre. Several of the beaches with their tropical vegetation are quiet and serene whilst others have restaurants, bars, sun beds and umbrellas for hire. Nerja is also perfect for water sports; sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, water-skiing and fishing. Nerja boasts a wide variety of things to do and see. Burriana beach on the east side of Nerja is an excellent beach, alive with bars, cafes and restaurants. Watch the giant paella being cooked over the beach fire at Ayo's restaurant - one of the favoured places to eat.

Places to Visit

The local Nerja bus stops at the entrance to Tropicana. Trips can also be taken west to Torre del Mar and Malaga, east to Almunecar and inland to Frigiliana. Nerja is 40 minutes away from Malaga. Airport. Enjoy a visit to the famous Nerja caves, famed for the largest stalagmite in Europe and home to summer concerts in its great caverns. Frigilian, voted Spain's prettiest village, is a small Moorish village nestling above Nerja and Competa is another pretty Andalucian village with white-washed houses, good craft shops and locally produced wine. Nearby Lake Vinuela, situated in the National Park, is a delight to visit on a warm sunny day. Stop for lunch at the restaurant overlooking the lake. Going east you have Marina del Este, a boating harbour nestling in a sheltered bay. Further on is Almunecar with its bustling Friday market and then Salobrena, its ancient castle dominating the town. Malaga is well worth a visit, take the tourist bus for the best views of the city.

Granada and the Sierra Nevada

An hour's drive on good roads will take you to Granada and the Alhambra Palace. A wonderful experience not to be missed but make sure you book your tickets in advance as they only allow a certain number through on any one day. Go to the tourist office in Nerja for more information. Twenty minutes drive from Granada and you can be at the top of the Sierra Nevada, the 1992 Olympic skiing resort. Even in summer it is a lovely ride with stunning views from the highest road in Europe.

Golf Information:

Anoreta Golf (6538 yards par 71) 30 minute drive is a parkland course, designed by Jose Maria Canizares. His design offers a challenge to golfers of all levels. Water is a major hazard and is featured at eleven of the holes. Baviera golf (6100 yards par 71) is a 10 minute drive. Another Canizares course it has been landscaped to make the maximum potential of the views of the local mountains, pinewoods and the sea, enhanced with lakes and magnificent gardens. Five other courses are within an hour's drive.
