So Much To Do:

Nice, being the 5th largest city of France, is undoubtedly vibrant and exciting, it is impossible to detail all of it's attractions here. But it can also offer peace and tranquility within a short distance. We believe that 'The Port of Nice' offers this luxury. Currently viewed as the 'Notting Hill' of Nice with it's abundance of high quality Antique Shops, it is a place that caters for all tastes. From Museums to Art Galleries and Theatres, and a differing choice of 'Festive' activities each month of the year, there is something for everyone. Restaurants and cafes abound, with many newly established facilities in the area that cater for every type of cuisine you could wish for, from the humble creperie to the best of French and Italian cuisine. If you are a 'shopper' visit 'Nice Etoile' and/or Galeries Layfayette' in the town centre, or to the west CAP 3000 one of the largest shopping malls in Europe, whilst rarely short of places for you to 'sit and watch the world go by'...

Transportation:

Just beyond the end of the street, you can take a bus to the centre of town or The Central Station. Buses are frequent (every few mins), and take about 10/15 mins, to get there, with a flat fare of 1 Euro 30c. per single journey, 4 Euros for a one day pass, and 16 Euros for a 14 journey ticket. If you want to go further afield, a 5 min brisk walk will take you to the local 'Gare Riquier', where you can catch a train to Monte Carlo (20 mins), Antibes, or Cannes and beyond. Alternatively, Rent A Car, and be wherever you want to be......

Travel by Rail:

Take the number 30 bus to the main station (Gare SNCF), and there take the train to Monte Carlo (about 30 mins) or on to Ventimiglia (Italy), where, on a Friday morning, they hold the biggest open air market in Europe. Alternatively take the TGV to any part of Southern France. 12 Hours from Waterloo(London) could get you here, also.. In any event we believe you will not fail to do anything but enjoy Nice, The Cote D'Azur and The South of France....... Golf Information:

All year round golf is almost guaranteed on the Cote D’Azur, on a variety of landscapes, with courses suited to all levels. There are 19+ courses to choose from, all within an hour’s drive. In Mandelieu there are two excellent golf courses: The Riviera Golf Club and the Old Course Cannes Mandelieu. Riviera Golf Club, built during the 1990s, was designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior. Mostly level with some hills and lakes. This is an 18 hole, par 72 course of 5,736 meters with practice tees and putting green. The Old Course, Cannes-Mandelieu Inaugurated in 1891, it is the oldest course on the coast. A very beautiful course lined with umbrella pines around the Siagne River. During the course of a game, you even have to take a short boat ride. This is an 18-hole course of 5,676 meters, par 71, complete with a 9-hole course of 2,409 meters, par 33. There is a good practice area and a lovely old world clubhouse. There are many other Golf Clubs in easy travelling distance:Three around Mougins: The Royal Mougins (home of the Cannes Open); Opio Valbonne; and Cannes-Mougins. Three more around Grasse: St Donat; La Grande Bastide; and Grasse Golf & Country Club. One in St Raphael: Esterel Latitudes Golf Club. Two at Ste-Maxime : Beauvallon-Grimaud Golf Club; Ste-Maxime Golf Club. One at La Motte: St Endreol. In addition to these other courses may be found further afield.
