The white sand stretches as far as the eye can see with views across to Jersey, on a clear day it is possible to make out the houses on the Island. At low tide you can also see the buildings on the legendary Isles of Ecrehou. All this from the panoramic windows of the house or the raised decking area leading from the lounge. The house designed over 3 floors has maximised the stunning views with a raised elevation overlooking the sea, plus with a raised decking area so you can wander out from the lounge sit and watch the sunset over Jersey perhaps with a large G&T. We are only 2 & half hours from Paris.

• Automatic end of stay clean is included, linen & towels are available - please ask.

• Our season is 1st April to 1st October
  
• We aim to have the house ready for 1 p.m. so it may be possible that we can let you straight into the house or if not at least somewhere to store your luggage until we are ready - please enquire.
  Changeover day is a Saturday in peak season.

Horse riding, boat trips & sea sports

Boat trips to Jersey and surrounding islands also available along with day fishing trips. There are also boat trips available for dolphin watching. Sand yachting, wind surfing and swimming all along the beach, which is patrolled by life guards during the summer months. Just 40 minutes away are the Invasion Beaches. Every June the invasion is celebrated in great style with thousands of enactors flocking to the area in war vehicles and of course the veterans return too. Ste Mere Eglise has a huge parachute jump - in 2006 we had in excess of 300 jump with English, French, Canadian, American & for the 1st time Germans all participating. The museums and places of interest are well worth a visit and are very moving.

The well equiped house has

A sunny, cheerful large L shaped south westerly facing lounge/dining room on the ground floor with sensational uninterrupted views across the sea to Jersey, with patio doors leading out to the raised decking area. A perfect room to relax in, witness glorious sunsets or just while away the hours watching the scenery. Watch the tractors launching the boats on the beach, the fishermen tending the oyster and mussel beds, the dramatic weather from time to time. The glass dining table is cleverly placed so that everyone can see the sea whilst dining the strategically placed mirrors mean that anyone with their back to the view still sees it. TV with BBC and ITV from Jersey, video player & a selection of videos, a DVD player (American visitors note it is a European player) plus a CD stereo/radio. A fantastic modern fireplace for log fires in the winter. Outside is a huge BBQ & patio area with all the garden furniture. 2 bikes in the garage for the quick nip to the boulangerie.

In the well equiped kitchen

you will find salt, pepper, herbs, sugar, tea, coffee, mustard, olive oil, ketchup, stock cubes, pasta etc. etc. - all we ask our guests is to top up anything they use before they go. Bedding, towels and beach towels are available - please ask for our tariff. A nautical theme throughout. You may even find a bucket & spade. Sun loungers, deck chairs and huge BBQ in the garden and a couple of push bikes in the garage so you can nip down to the village. We have available 2 cots, 2 highchairs, toilet trainers, baby baths, bottle sterilizers, changing mats.
