At the heart of Touraine, in a vast wooded estate and deer farm, Vau Godet is a beautiful 14th century house for 2, 3 or 4 people (adults). The owners have managed to combine the natural and rural charm of old stones and wooden beams to ultra-modern comfort: almost professional kitchen, balneo bath. To you the joys of spring and summer on the large terrace or near the fish pond near the house for fishing enthusiasts ... the joys of autumn evenings around the fireplace after having picked at leisure chestnuts, mushrooms, walnuts, hazelnuts ... surprise you, walks in the woods and fields, deer park and deer breeding. In September and October you will live the magic moment of great slab of deer ... all the year you can enjoy eggs laid the same day and you can pick fruits and vegetables in the traditionnally-cultivated kitchen garden.

'Vau Godet' is situated 28 km from Tours, capital of the Touraine and 4 km north of Langeais, a small town famous for its royal castle, at the crossroads of all roads in the historic Loire Valley, the site UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nearby, all the castles of the Loire (Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Chenonceau, Chambord, Saumur, Rigny-Ussé, Chinon, Champchevrier, Gizeux ...), many historic homes (home of Balzac in Saché house Rabelais' the Devinière 'in Chinon, Abbey of Fontevraud ...), vineyards with famous wines (visits to wineries: Bourgueil, Chinon, Saumur, Vouvray ...). A Langeais, all shops, supermarket, weekly market on Sunday morning, gourmet restaurants, swimming pool, tennis, horseback riding, windsurfing, hiking ... A few miles, 2 18-hole golf courses. The operation 'Loire en vélo' initiated in 2005 now has 300 km of which 250 tagged and secured along the Loire.

Notes: We wanted this house is a place of rest, quiet, back to nature. It is ideal for people who want to relax or work (writers, artists ...). We rent a minimum of one week but longer stays are possible. The kitchen is ultra modern large refrigerator, large freezer, oven Sholtès multi functions, dishwasher, double sink, storage cupboards, electric kettle, crockery complete many robots. Beautiful dishes (Limoges porcelain), silverware, glasses allow service if necessary to organize a reception.
