Summer activities: Les Contamines is on the famous 'tour du Mont Blanc' walking route and is a fantastic base for an active holiday with a multitude of walking routes as well as mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking, tennis, swimming (5 mins drive to a beautiful outdoor heated pool). For families there are many entertainments laid on locally, a pretty boating lake with playground, crazy golf etc. Or if you need a rest you can just sit back and enjoy the splendid views all around us and a good selection of local restaurants.
The pool: It is an exercise pool for swimming against current which is fully adjustable, allowing you to customize its flow for any level of swimming, or aquatic fitness in warm water. You can then relax with a therapeutic spa massage. Whether you want to improve circulation, relieve pressure on your joints or simply melt away tension and fatigue, we offer the most luxurious spa experience. Both spa and pool are open all year long, even during winter They are shared by both the chalet and the apartment guests.
Sauna and fitness room: The chalet is provided with a sauna and a fitness room where you'll find indoor bike, rower, and Waff
Ski: The Les Contamines ski area offers snow-sure pistes from mid December to the end of April and has a ski school with English speaking instructors. Most of the skiing is above 1800m. The ski area has 120km of uncrowded pistes with 31 ski lifts, 44 pistes, including 3 nursery slopes in the village. For snow borders there are two snow parks, one in the village. Les Contamines has very good off piste for the more adventurous skier. It also has 29 km of cross country skiing and there are eight mountain restaurants. None of the 14 resorts of the Chamonix ski domaine are more than 45 minutes drive away including Les Grands Montets at Argentiere. Local ski guides can take you on a descent of the world famous Vallee Blanche. The chalet is situated only two km from the main cable car and the local ski bus stops on the main road. St. Gervais, which links with Megeve is only 10 minutes drive away giving a further 300km of skiing. You can buy a ski pass for the Domaine Evasion Mont-Blanc
