The old town is a holiday destination in itself. The most famous beach in the area, Palombaggia is stunning, with fine, white sand stretching around the inside of the bay, always attracting a small crowd during the long summer months. If you would prefer to have the whole beach to yourself, there are some excellent remote beaches within striking distance of a Porto Vecchio villa, many of which are only accessible by foot or even by boat! Porto Vecchio harbour is filled with boats and yachts.
